Your gourmet breakfast prepared fresh each morning. Served to you on the patio surrounded by tropical plants, palm tree shaded and filled with birdsong. Breakfast items include our own recipes, gourmet Mexican dishes, some favorites from the north, exotic juices and aguas served with our own coffee blend ground fresh daily. Some of our guests' breakfast comments are featured below as well as some typical breakfast descriptions.
Start the morning with your choice of traditional Mexican "aguas" or tropical juices. Top that off with a good, hot cup of our own blend coffee.
El Don Juan... original to Las Casitas. You won' t find this anywhere else. Fluffy scrambled eggs team up with cheese, avocado, green onion and, if you like, turkey ham all folded in a large flour tortilla and toasted golden brown in the fry pan. All this top dressed with chipotle mayonnaise and cream. Served with fresh fruit and your choice of potatoes or beans.
Cornmeal Waffles... satisfying and healthy. A fan of waffle triangles arranged on a bed of fresh fruit. Served with butter, syrup and our own papaya pecan fruit compote.
Huevos A La Mexicana... our finely tuned version of a classic. Gently sautéed onion, tomato, chili and cilantro folded into scrambled eggs. Adorned on top with avocado wedges, cream and parsley. Served with fresh fruit and your choice of potatoes or beans.
Las Casitas Omelet... a tender three egg delight carefully put together with a variety of quality fillings and topped with delicious home made salsas and cream. Served with fruit and your choice of potatoes or beans.
Deluxe Tropical Fruit Granola... loaded with with nuts and seeds and dried tropical fruit, prepared with desert honey, butter and vanilla our homemade granola is sure to put a morning smile on your face. Served with a fresh baked goodie, fruit and your choice of yogurt or milk.
Vegetarian Breakfast Burrito... fresh vegetables lightly sautéed in butter, scrambled eggs, cheese, sprouts, avocado, roasted chilies wrapped in a large flour tortilla toasted golden brown in the fry pan and topped with a flavorful roasted tomato chipotle salsa and cream. Served with fresh fruit and your choice of potatoes or beans.
