Todos Santos...

Todos Santos is a beautiful place. Far from the noise and chaos of Cabo San Lucas sits a tiny village of 4,000 souls. Galleries and shops sell the products of local artisans and craftsman. Many extraordinary restaurants staffed by gifted and dedicated chefs line the quaint village roads.

Todos Santos Todos Santos was once a thriving agricultural area: sugar cane. The story goes, the cane used all the water from the local aquifer and the producers moved to more water-rich areas to grow their sweet crop. You can still find the remnants of the cane processing plants scattered about. Since that time, the water has returned to Todos Santos. There is one area of town where the bamboo grows tall and flows across the road all day long. Now, small organic farms surround the town.

Today, Todos Santos is a haven for a growing number of artists. Many well-known writers, painters and sculptors now call Todos Santos 'home'. You can spend many relaxing days touring the various galleries - a surprise awaits you around every corner of the small, quaint roads of Todos Santos.

If you are driving here from Cabo San Lucas and want a nice treat, look for a sign, about halfway. The sign reads "Art and Beer". Excellent cold refreshments, appetizers, great music, art, a small observation tower, and gardens with manicured walkways await your exploration. A nice place to take a break and relax. We REALLY like this place. So, only share it with your friends and those worthy and appreciative of such an experience.

There are three restaurants in Todos Santos that you must visit during your stay: La Coronela, Miguel's, and Cafe Santa Fe.

Miguel's has the most awesome Chili Relleno you may ever experience.

La Coronela in the Hotel Calfornia has an eclectic menu, with fusion cuisine melding Mexican flavors with dishes from around the world. Of course we must mention the Hotel California. Arty and sophisticated, with a unique aesthetic experience. We love their hand blown lighting fixtures.

The Cafe Santa Fe is a 5 star Italian restaurant of excellent reputation.
